About Alan Bernardo

Alan serves as the brand champion for Iyon, the culinary brand behind all of Ascend Garden's value-added food products. He develops and perfects the family recipes that define our offerings. From crafting recipes in the family kitchen to producing them at scale in a commercial kitchen after hours, Alan combines passion, authenticity, and dedication to bring each creation to life.

Alan has a multi-faceted background in banking for over twenty five (25) years. His 9-5 role is as a senior auditor. 

Beyond sharing his love language of acts of service through cooking and hospitality, he dedicated ten years to serving at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Bear, Delaware, where he led the youth and young adult ministries and served as an elder. Today, he and his family live in Frisco, Texas, and actively serve and volunteer at Stonebriar Community Church.
