Shiela Bernardo started growing food at home as a hobby in 2020 using sustainable urban farming modules such as hydroponics and aeroponics, and then it expanded into setting up at markets to share abundant crop yields while connecting with the community.
Shiela’s 9-5 corporate occupation is as vice president of a multinational investment bank and financial services company. She completed a professional certificate from The Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship at Cornell University in January-2024. She graduated with special academic honors for Global Leadership Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentration track in Business Analytics and Finance from The University of Texas at Dallas in August-2024.
She is committed to missional living, embodying an entrepreneurial posture of perseverance that nurtures possibilities and creates meaningful impact.
